    History

Coral Creek Golf Course, designed by Robin Nelson and opened in 1999, holds the distinction of being the final course in Hawaii to open in the 20th century. It was the first in the state to feature the luxurious and highly durable Seashore Paspalum grass throughout the entire layout. With short roughs and putting surfaces that lack grain, golfers only need to focus on line and speed, making the course notably fair. The layout winds through a series of holes that reflect the level terrain and wind conditions of leeward Oahu. Occasional two- and three-club winds are effectively managed by the clever design. Four lakes, sourced from a deep coral base, enhance the course, with the largest - "Lake Nelson" - acting as a buffer to the creative short par-4 12th hole. The stunning par-3 13th hole, featuring a 30-foot waterfall, is another unforgettable highlight.

Coral Creek features 6,808 yards of challenging par 72 golf that's enjoyable and playable for golfers of all skill levels. While short par-4s into the prevailing trade winds are a signature of the course, Hole 14 stands out as one of the state's longest and toughest par 5s. At 636 yards, this hole, playing directly into the trade winds, will test even the most powerful hitters. Come experience authentic Hawaiian golf at Coral Creek Golf Course!
